Loading...St. Peter's of the Lake Episcopal Church in Gilbertsville, Ky., will host a St. Peter's Day Celebration Sunday, June 24.
The celebration, following the 10 a.m. worship service, will feature a barbecue picnic, fellowship and games from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. (CDT). Proceeds from the picnic and other fundraising activities will go to the Kentucky Sheriff's Boys and Girls Ranch, a recreation and education program established near Kentucky Lake in the the 1970s to serve underprivileged youths.
On Thursday, June 28, the church is sponsoring a Red Cross blood drive from 12:30-6:30 p.m. (CDT) in Inspiration Hall.
