Loading...Southwest Community Ministries will be hosting a River Ramble Walk on Saturday, May 14, at Riverside, the Farnsley-Moreman Landing Park. The Southwest River Ramble is fund raising project to help the ministries programs, which are essential to the community.
Participants will collect pledges from donors and 100% of the proceeds will benefit Southwest Community Ministries.
The ramble will start at Riverside, the Farnsley-Moreman Landing and walk to Mike Linnig's (2.5 miles) or Riverview Park (formerly the Greenwood Boat Dock – 4.2 miles). Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. Walk starts at 10 a.m. (EDT).
Transportation will be provided to pick you up at either Mike Linnig's or Riverview Park. Instructions will be given for a ride back as you leave Farnsley Moreman Landing.
Bring your pledges the day of the walk or send pledges to Southwest Community Ministries. Pre-register by May 6, 2011. Walkers will receive a free chance to win a door prize the day of the walk. Entry fee is $15 and will be considered your first pledge. Receive a T-Shirt with a minimum of $30 in pledges. Canned goods will be collected on the day of the walk also.
