Loading...The Norton Healthcare Office of Church and Health Ministries is hosting an information session next month for health care professionals and others interested in learning about faith community nursing and the promotion of health and wellness within faith communities.
The session will meet Thursday, Nov. 11, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. (EST) at Norton Audubon Hospital, 1 Audubon Plaza Drive, Louisville. The meeting will be in the Family Resource Center, which is adjacent to the hospital's main entrance.
The course, which offers one continuing education contact hour, has two objectives: to describe the function of a health minister and to identify the five roles of a faith community nurse.
