Loading...Messiah-Trinity (Lutheran-Episcopal) Church in Louisville will hold an Olde Tyme Carnival Day on Saturday, September 17, 2011.
The church, located at 8701 Shepherdsville Road, will have a yard sale, beginning at 8:30 a.m., and booths for various games, including a cake wheel, fish pond, balloon bust, bingo and others. Also planned are a corn hole tournament and a chili contest. Everyone is invited to enter and can do so by calling 502-239-0681 for further information. In addition, opportunity tickets will be sold for a quilt made by the women of the church and for signed footballs and basketballs from the University of Louisville and University of Kentucky. Homemade jellies and wine jelly will be available at the bake sale.
For the younger visitors, the church will have a rock wall climber and a bouncer set up. The youngsters can also enjoy having their picture taken on the back of a horse.
Between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. (EDT), you can give blood at the the Red Cross Bloodmobile.
