Loading...Christ Church Cathedral will host a reception to express thanks to the Very Rev. Steve Winsett and his wife, Veronica, as Winsett's term as interim dean ends this month.
The reception will be held after the 10 a.m. worship service on Sunday, Dec. 31.
Winsett has served as interim dean since October 2005, filling a vacancy left by the Rev. Keith Marsh, then dean, who was called to serve a parish in Pennsylvania.
The cathedral will have a new dean, beginning in mid-January, with the appointment of the Rev. Mark Bourlakas, rector of St. Alban's Church in Davidson, N.C.. Bishop Ted Gulick appointed Bourlakas dean following his election last month by the Cathedral Chapter.
