Loading...Coleen Wilson was selected recently from among 700 entrants to win a quilt to benefit the new St. Luke's Chapel at the Episcopal Church Home in Louisville.
Wilson is a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church and the Woman's Board of the Home. More than $1,400 was raised. A group of dedicated volunteers originating inside St. Francis in the Fields Episcopal Church made the wreath quilt by hand.
The new chapel, specially designed for the home's senior residents, was consecrated June 20 and is also open to the public. To date $3.15 million has been raised for the $3.65 million chapel. Additional gifts are still being sought.
