Loading...HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. — Participants at the Episcopal Church Women's Province IV Conference in June are invited to “believe in a miracle” during the annual meeting for Southeastern members of the Episcopal Church Women.
The June 7-9 gathering will be the first organized by Province IV ECW President Jackie Robe of Hudson, Fla. New spiritual and craft workshops will be offered to supplement members’ time in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina.
“The Women’s Conference is a time for sharing, praying, praising and learning,” Robe said of the event co-sponsored by Kanuga and Province IV ECW. “Nothing can compare to this special gathering of women because we share prayers, inspiration and an enduring love of Christ.”
The Rev. Gigi Conner, vicar of St. Gregory’s Church in Woodstock, N.Y., will serve as both chaplain and keynote speaker for the event and give talks on the theme “Believe in a Miracle: Come and See, Go and Tell” during the three-day conference. Music will be provided by singer-songwriter Fran McKendree of Hendersonville, N.C.
The Province IV ECW is an organization of Episcopal women dedicated to sharing the good news of Jesus Christ by engaging in worship, prayer, study and service. Their annual meeting is open to all women, not just ECW members.
While the conference officially begins with a short business session following dinner on Monday, June 7, an optional networking day is offered Sunday, June 6, for those who arrive early.
