Loading...The first Sunday of Lent, which is this Sunday (Feb. 21), has been designated as Episcopal Relief & Development Sunday, and the emergency and disaster relief arm of The Episcopal Church has prepared a Lenten meditations booklet to help Episcopalians prepare for this day and the Lenten season.
Developed by Sister Claire Joy of the Community of the Holy Spirit in New York City, the 2010 Lenten Meditations booklet is devoted to the theme, “Healing ourselves and a hurting world.” Its daily meditations are designed to encourage, challenge and inspire members of our congregations to reflect on their lives and the steps they might take to help those who live in need.
