Phil Cousineau event on Saturday to include book sale

Please plan to join us on Saturday, March 3 from 1 to 5 p.m. for a special free presentation by celebrated filmmaker and best-selling author, Phil Cousineau on "The Art of Pilgrimage." The event will include a book sale and will conclude with a peace march and vigil.

The event will take place at Laws Lodge on the campus of the Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary on Alta Vista in Louisville.

Many of you may recall that Phil, author of the best-selling book "The Art of Pilgrimage" was the co-leader of the "Gandhi-Merton Pilgrimage for Non-violence" here last September.

At 3:30 those present will be invited to undertake a "mini-pilgrimage for non-violence" walking from the seminary to the corner of Lexington and Grinstead where they will stand in silence for 15 minutes as witnesses for peace and non-violence in our war ravaged world.

PHIL COUSINEAU is a writer, teacher, editor, independent scholar, documentary filmmaker, travel leader, and storyteller. His life-long fascination with the art, literature, and history of culture has taken him on many journeys around the world. He lectures frequently on a wide range of topics--from mythology, soul, and writing, to beauty, travel, sports, and creativity. Cousineau's books have been translated into nine languages. He has published 18 non-fiction books and has 15 scriptwriting credits to his name.
