Loading...The Rev. Ned Morris, former rector of Calvary Church in Louisville, will be officially welcomed at The Church of the Advent in Spartanburg, S. C., on Thursday evening, Nov. 5. The Rt. Rev. Dorsey F. Henderson Jr. will institute Morris as the parish's 18th rector during the service of renewal of ministry and welcoming of a new rector.
Morris served as Calvary's rector from October 2004 until last May. Advent is the third largest congregation in the Diocese of Upper Soutn Carolina with a congregation of about 1,400 members.
