Mitch Bojarksi to head to Campbellsville

Diocesan News & Publications

The Rev. Mitch Bojarski, associated rector at Christ Church in Bowling Green and chaplain for Western Kentucky University students, has accepted a call to serve St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Campbellsville.

Bojarski and his wife, Beth, the diocese's coordinator of youth ministries, moved to Kentucky after his graduation from Virginia Theological Seminary in June 2008. The couple has a son, Eliot.

In announcing the call at the Dec. 17 Trustees and Council meeting, Bishop Ted Gulick said Mitch's experience with college students at Western will be important at St. Thomas at this time. The church, he said, has been attracting both students and professors from Campbellsville College.

Trustee Katherine Smith, a St. Thomas member, also noted how pleased the church was to call Mitch and Beth. "I think that they will bring a great energy with them." He is due to begin the new position at the end of January.
