Disciplinary Board intake officer named

Bishop Terry White has appointed Mr. W. Bronson Howell, a member of Advent Church in Louisville, as the Diocese of Kentucky's Intake Officer for the diocese's Disciplinary Board for the balance of 2011 and 2012. 

Anyone who has reason to believe that any member of the clergy of this diocese has committed an offense, as described in Title IV of the Canons of the Episcopal Church, should submit such information, in any manner and in any form, directly to the intake officer.

Any member of the clergy who believes that an offense has been committed by a member of the clergy and who receives a complaint should immediately forward it to Howell. Pursuant to Title IV of the Canons of the Church and Canon 29 of this diocese, the Convention of this Diocese has formed a Disciplinary Board to hear and resolve complaints against clergy.

The board functions through panels to mediate, and if necessary, try alleged violations of clergy standards of conduct.
