Loading...Episcopal Relief and Development's U.S. Disaster Program recently informed the diocesan office that two articles were written and published on their website featuring our diocese's response to the 2009 ice storm. The articles were published in Episcopal Relief & Development's U.S. Disaster Program resource library, which offers a collection of tools and stories from around the dioceses that can be used for developing new response programs.

Shortly after the 2009 ice storm, then Bishop Ted Gulick and the Rev. Karl Lusk, the diocese's disaster preparedness coordinator, toured the western half of the diocese to assess the extent of storm damage and the needs of our affected parishes and their communities.
