Diaconal Discernment Days scheduled in March and May

The Diaconal Discernment Days, cosponsored by the Diocese of Kentucky’s Commission on Ministry and the Diocesan School of Ministry, will be offered March 28 in Louisville and May 23 Hopkinsville for individuals discerning a call to the vocational diaconate and for spouses to learn more about ordained ministry.

There is no cost for this conference.  Fill out the application form and have it signed by your rector/vicar, and return it one week prior to the Discernment Day that you plan to attend.
Topics discussed will include:

• What is discernment?
  •    What is the vocational diaconate?
  •    What do vocational deacons do?
  •    How are vocational deacons formed in the Diocese of Kentucky?
  •    What are the steps in the ordination process?
