To show thanks for the work and ministry done by our congregations' parish adminstrators and program staff, the Diocese of Kentucky will host a lunch and cruise the week of Thanksgiving.
The event will be Nov. 20 aboard the Star of Louisville, a 130-foot yachtlike, dinner ship that takes a leisurely, 20-mile cruise. During the two-hour cruise, guests have plenty of time to enjoy an impressive buffet and take in the view, either from the inside or by exploring its decks. The cruise ship is docked at 501 W. Riverside Drive in Jeffersonville, Ind. Boarding begins at 11 a.m. (EST) with the Star setting sail at noon.
Space is limited to 50 persons, so reservations must be made by Friday, Nov. 17. For additional details about the event, call Betty Williams at 502-584-7148 (800-222-3462), and visit the Star of Louisville Web site to for details about the ship and its offerings.
