LeaderResources, which offers downloadable Christian Formation and congregational development materials, has announceed its release of "Searching for God in the Rubble of Haiti," a resource created "to help adults and youth process what happened in Haiti."

The four-session resource explores four questions that often accompany crisis: Does God cause disasters? Why doesn't God prevent them? Where is God when disaster strikes? What is our Christian response?

Each session is designed to provide opportunities for learning and theological reflection. A session on Haiti gives participants an understanding of that nation's life and history. In addition, the curriculum may be used as a Lenten program; it includes two extra sessions that focus on the crucifixion as another time when we might ask, as Jesus did, "My God, why have you forsaken me?"

LeadershipResources also offers a free guide for talking with children and teens about a tragedy.

Visit their Web site at www.leaderresources.org  for more information or to place an order. The publisher announced that both versions may be obtained for $39.95, which is the cost of one.
