Bishop to explore nationhood at Fall retreat

Bishop Ted Gulick will explore what it means to be a citizen of a nation and a Christian in his annual retreat at the end of this month.

The weekend retreat, entitled "Baptized & Citizen: Dilemma & Opportunity," will be held Friday, Oct. 31, to Saturday, Nov. 1, at All Saints'  Episcopal Conference Center in Leitchfield. 

According to the flyer annoucing the retreat theme, participants will explore a theology of nation with the bishop, examining the idea of nationhood that emerges from prayers in the Book of Common Prayer and from Scripture.
