The Board of Trustees of the Woodcock Foundation welcomes you to Woodcock Foundation page on the Diocese of Kentucky Web site.
The Woodcock Foundation constitutes a public charity under the Internal Revenue Code. It helps carry out the purposes of the Episcopal Diocese of Kentucky in granting scholarships to students who can demonstrate financial need based on the assets and income of their families. It also maintains a close relationship with the diocese. Applicants do not have to be Episcopalians, as long as they live within the geographical boundaries of the Diocese of Kentucky (generally, the western half of Kentucky). A letter of recommendation is required from the rector of Episcopalians when first applying.
A student must maintain a 2.5 cumulative grade point average, in a 4-point system, and must be making progress toward a degree in order to be considered for subsequent years of funding. All course withdrawals must be explained.
The application must be filled out completely by the student, following the instructions explicitly. The deadline for returning it is June 10 for the coming academic year and Nov. 1 if applying for the Spring or Summer semester only. It is imperative that the student’s most recent transcript (not a grade report) be forwarded to the foundation as soon as it is available, if it cannot be included with the application. Please send in your application – then send the transcript when it is available.

You will hear from us shortly after our July and November meetings.
